‘Walking On Sunshine’ musical by Vertigo Films and Eagle Pictures was filmed in Apulia. To be more exact, mostly Salento was the beautiful background for this funny and engaging musical with Leona Lewis, a British popstar,  as a one of the protagonists. The entire shooting, from the beginning to the end, took place in Apulia, the film will be in cinemas this summer from June 13. Thursday, 21st of March, John Malkovich arrived to Lecce with his wife, and the day after the couple had a walk along the streets of Lecce, including historic center, taking by surprise everybody they passed by. Expecting inundation of tourists for Easter holidays, Lecce inhabitants and visitors still couldn’t imagine they would see this internationally famous actor and film director… The Malkovich family chose the Patria Palace Hotel to stay in.

John has proved to be polite with those who tried to stop him and ask for an autograph, and when he was asked what he thought of the city, he told that it was very beautiful.

В четверг, 21 марта, Джон Малкович прибыл в Лечче с его женой, и на следующий день они прогулялись по улицам города, включая исторический центр, ко всеобщему удивлению всех, мимо кого они проходили. Ожидая наплыв туристов на пасхальные праздники, жители и гости Лечче все же не могли представить, что они увидят этого знаменитого акетра и режиссера… Семья Малкович остановилась в Patria Palace Hotel.
